Our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. While in the bus we watched a video, a historical account of the time. Wear comfortable shoes, lunch on the way back. Although I do not have any close relative that felt the pain of the war, it is an emotional experience.

Josef was an amazing guide. He was very welcoming and provided great information along the way. The van was very comfortable and we had plenty of time to wander around Salzburg. It was a great day.

This tour provides a harrowing example of one of the worst regimes in history. I highly recommend it—it is a moving memorial to the 90,000 who perished there. It is hard to believe how those responsible could live with themselves after what they did.

LONG travel from Vienna to Salzburg—nothing can be done to improve that, just be aware of the distance. Robert was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and made the entire trip enjoyable. Especially liked the lakes and small villages—not another tourist in sight!
